Job Description

The Junior Dentist will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day clinical operations, diagnosing common dental concerns, performing basic dental treatments, supporting senior doctors during procedures, and ensuring high-quality Dental Care for every patient. The candidate must maintain accurate patient records, follow sterilization protocols, communicate clearly with patients, and uphold ethical standards expected from a Dentist.

Responsibilities

Examine patients and document chief complaints, diagnosis, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately. Perform basic dental procedures such as consultation, scaling, restorations, simple extractions, temporary fillings, and follow-up care as per competency. Assist senior dentists and consultants during procedures such as RCT, crowns, surgical extractions, implants, and aligner cases. Explain treatment plans, procedure steps, post-treatment instructions, and follow-up requirements to patients. Ensure proper sterilization, hygiene, infection-control protocols, and chairside readiness before every procedure. Update patient records, treatment status, prescriptions, lab details, and payment-related treatment notes on the same day. Coordinate with front desk, lab, consultants, and clinic team for smooth patient flow and appointment management. Support emergency dental care and pain management as per clinical judgment and clinic protocols. Maintain professional conduct, patient confidentiality, and compliance with DCI/KSDC ethical guidelines. Participate in clinical learning, case discussions, and skill improvement activities within KKS Dental and Medical Care.
