Job Description
KKS Dental and Medical Care is hiring an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon / OMFS Surgeon for a part-time role across our dental clinic operations. The consultant will be required to work 4 hours per day, 6 days a week, and will be responsible for managing oral surgical cases with a high standard of clinical care, patient safety, and ethical practice. The role includes performing surgical and complicated extractions, wisdom tooth removal, minor oral surgical procedures, emergency dental surgery support, pre-surgical evaluation, treatment planning, and post-operative follow-up guidance. The OMFS Surgeon will also work closely with the in-house Dentist and dental care team to ensure proper diagnosis, patient counselling, consent, documentation, and smooth coordination of surgical appointments. The candidate should have strong clinical skills, good communication with patients, and the ability to guide junior dentists when required. Proper patient record updates, sterilization protocols, informed consent, and adherence to Dental Council and clinic guidelines are mandatory. Work Schedule: 4 hours per day, 6 days a week Preferred Candidate: MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with experience in surgical extractions, impactions, and emergency oral surgery management.

- Perform surgical extractions, wisdom tooth removal, impacted tooth removal, and other minor oral surgical procedures. Evaluate patients clinically and advise the right treatment plan before surgery. Handle emergency oral surgery cases and guide the team on immediate management. Take proper informed consent before every surgical procedure. Explain the procedure, risks, post-operative care, and follow-up instructions clearly to patients. Maintain high standards of sterilization, infection control, and patient safety. Coordinate with the in-house Dentist and dental care team for diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical appointments. Update patient records, treatment notes, prescriptions, payments, lab details if any, and post-operative instructions on the same day. Provide post-surgical follow-up care and manage complications such as pain, swelling, infection, bleeding, or dry socket. Guide and train junior dentists in basic oral surgery, simple extractions, guttering, and emergency management where required. Ensure all procedures are performed ethically and as per Dental Council, KPME, and clinic protocols. Support KKS Dental and Medical Care in delivering safe, professional, and high-quality dental care to every patient. Maintain professionalism with patients, staff, visiting consultants, and management. Avoid unnecessary procedures and ensure transparent treatment planning and patient counselling. Be available for the agreed schedule of 4 hours per day, 6 days a week, and communicate any leave or schedule change in advance.
